Gulf Coast that prompted the creation of the Mississippi Gulf Coast
Polytechnic High School. With a main facility in Gautier and branches in Pearl
River and George counties – linked by technology – by 2020 it has 700
students doing their last two years of high school.

aerospace industries, advanced materials is a core offering of the academy.
The student body includes a mix of university, community college and direct
entry aspirants interested and motivated by incentives to pursue careers in ship
and boat-building or aerospace.
